We are a group of dedicated volunteers located in Surrey, BC, Canada. We communicate, co-ordinate, and work with coaches to foster an environment of participation, enjoyment, and improved skill in a variety of sports in Surrey (SD#36), British Columbia Elementary Schools. Students in our district enjoy soccer, cross-country, volleyball, basketball, badminton, ultimate, and track & field sport seasons. The sports are primarily coached by Surrey Elementary teachers, principals, and vice-principal volunteers.

SESAA is pleased to share the Elementary Athletics “2026–2027 Sports at a Glance” schedule to support planning for the upcoming school year. The document outlines key registration windows, league play dates, and play day timelines for all elementary sports, including soccer, cross country, volleyball, basketball, ultimate, badminton, Track & Field, and STM. Coaches are encouraged to review the timelines carefully and note sport-specific details such as scheduling responsibilities, clinic opportunities, and zone information to ensure smooth program implementation. Early coordination and adherence to deadlines will help maximize student participation and promote a positive, well-organized athletic experience across the district. Volleyball season is fast approaching and now is the time to register your school. Please connect with the coaches at your site and complete ONE registration per school. The link to complete the registration may be found here: Volleyball Registration
In addition, an ABCs of Volleyball clinic will be held again this year. We will review some basic rules as well as go over some warmup and skill development exercises to use with your teams. Come dressed for some light movement, with appropriate athletic shoes. All attendees will have their name entered to win a door prize!
