Reminders & Suggestions to Help Make the Surrey Track Meet - Adaptive Sports a Memorable Day:
Training Sessions
We encourage you to run training sessions beforehand to help athletes become familiar with event stations and routines. Volunteers may have limited time to provide detailed instructions during rotations, as approximately seven groups of 30 athletes will be moving through stations throughout the day.
Food
Athletes may bring their own lunches and snacks or enjoy our concession, where all proceeds support the Surrey Track Meet - Adaptive Sports Please refrain from ordering food from external vendors.

- Bring one safety pin per athlete to attach ribbons at each station
- Name tags are encouraged to support a friendly and accessible experience
- Team banners are welcome—let’s cheer each other on!
- If you bring a tent, ensure you bring proper anchors to secure it to the ground or bleachers
- Athletes may bring lapel pins to trade at our popular Pin Trading Station
