STM Athletes, coaches, staff and volunteers, thank you for filling the 2024 Special Track Meet with joy, perseverance, and determination!
"What we witnessed at this year’s Special Track Meet was a like-minded community, coming together to celebrate ‘ability’. To recognize the enormous perseverance, determination, and competitiveness of all STM athletes.
There are so many ways that our volunteers make these two days happen - from the planning to the preparation and organization of materials and equipment. From setting it all up and taking it all down to providing a fabulous concession and cooking the best ever hot dogs! You encouraged the kids as they tried something new at each of the stations; reassured and cheered and clapped for the runners and the jumpers and the kickers and the throwers and the batters."

"You can hear it in their cries and shouts of joy and you can feel it in your heart when you watch how hard they try and see how much this means to them. How important it is to belong and to push yourself and to be cheered on for trying because trying is really important. " -Connie McLean, STM Registration/ Volunteer Coordinator
