The 2013-2014 Surrey Elementary Handbook is now available for downloading. Included in the handbook are sport specific rules, philosophies, contacts, and other supporting documents to help you coach your students. Thank you to each and every coach for continuing to make a difference in the lives of the students in our district!
Click here to view 2013-2014 Handbook Hi soccer coaches! Hope you are all having a successful start to your school soccer season. As Play Day is just around the corner, there have been some questions regarding dates. To clarify:
Boys A Play Day will be held Wednesday, October 9th, Girls Play Day on Thursday, October 10th, and Co-Ed Play Day will be on October 16th. Hope this helps! I will send out more information next week on Play Day once the registration deadline passes next Wednesday. An important reminder that next Wednesday, September 25th is the final deadline for registering your school's soccer teams. Please ensure your school is signed up so that I can begin coordinating the final soccer Play Days. Registration can be done in our Soccer Section of our Blog/Website. We are looking forward to another exciting year of athletics in Surrey Elementary Athletic Society. Currently we are working on updating the handbook online at surreyelementaryathleticsociety.weebly.com Soccer and Cross Country are starting up in September. Soccer's Registration is out and thank you to Casey James for his hard work in organizing the registration and for outgoing convenor Kali Pinto for his efforts in supporting Casey with this big task.
Cross Country Convenors are the same as last year so the names in last years handbook are the same. Please contact Andrew Shook(North Zone), Chris Baldry (East Zone), Phil Turcotte (Central/West Zones), and Ross Davidson (South Zone) regarding registration and information this season. Thank you to all our convenors for their efforts and leadership in making athletics possible for students in our district. There you will find a message from Casey James (Laronde Elem.), who is the new SOCCER CONVENOR for 2013-14 year. His letter contains important information on soccer registration along with links to the Google Docs SOCCER REGISTRATION FORM and the soccer spreadsheet (which will automatically add contact information after people register their schools). |
