Hello Coaches,
Basketball league games will commence on the second week back from Winter Holidays (Jan. 16 – 17). Registration is now open until December 21; this gives our hard working Zone Reps time to work on preparing your schedules; please double check to see what zone your school is in (Zone lists can be found on page 5-6 in the SEAS Handbook—see tab above).
We will be hosting a Basketball Referee Clinic on Wednesday, January 9th at Simon Cunningham at 3:30 pm. David Barry, a certified BCBOA referee, plus Rachel Baldry and Erik Henderson (your Basketball Convenors) will walk you through all the rules of the game and answer any questions you may have. Also, there will be an ABCs of Basketball Clinic, hosted by Glenn Young, on Tuesday, January 15 at 3:30 pm; this will also be held at Simon Cunningham. Please see links below for both team and clinic registrations.
We hope you are looking forward to the upcoming season. If you have any questions regarding basketball (rules, drills, etc.) please email us and hopefully we can point you in the right direction. Any league play or Play Day questions should be directly sent to your Zone Rep.
